Bob Meepos is a Principal of Meridian Advisors, a role he has held for over 40 years. Beginning his career early, Bob became a staff accountant at 21 while attending Cal State Northridge and earned his CPA license at 22. After gaining experience at a top LA accounting firm, he joined his brother’s start-up CPA practice, eventually taking the lead and helping grow the business. A dedicated mentor and lifelong learner, Bob pursued a Master’s in Taxation and now encourages young professionals at his firm to advance their education. He is a long-standing member of the AICPA and CSCPA, and has served on numerous boards, including as treasurer of the Boys and Girls Club of Venice, where he helped launch a scholarship fund. Passionate about philanthropy, Bob promotes giving within his firm and personally supports a foster children’s organization. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, cycling, hiking, spending time with his wife, their dog, and his grandchildren.

Aaron is a Director at Meridian Advisors where he has spent his entire professional career in public accounting, starting in 2003. He has extensive experience providing high level strategic tax and advisory services to business owners and high net worth individuals from all backgrounds and industries, particularly those in real estate, professional services and online business enterprises. Aaron holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley and a masters in taxation from Golden Gate University. Aaron enjoys a balanced and busy life outside the office, spending time with his family, traveling, rock climbing and playing guitar in his original funk band, Rat Soup.

Jennifer is a senior business advisory manager with more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. She has extensive experience in various industries, including but not limited to, entertainment, doctor groups and professional service companies. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University in 1995. She is currently a board of trustees with the Karsh Social Service Center, The Jewish Center for Justice and Wilshire Boulevard temple. Jennifer is a Los Angeles native and outside of work enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports and traveling the world.

Joe is a CPA with a master’s in taxation from Golden Gate University. He has a combined 15 years of experience in public accounting and joined Meridian Advisors in January 2015. He has extensive experience in taxation, compliance and consulting services for real estate partnerships, small businesses, and high net worth clients. Outside of work Joe enjoys travelling, hiking, road trips, spending time with family. Occasionally you can find him lecturing an accounting class.

Andrew received his combined Masters in Accounting and Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2012. He has worked in the public accounting field ever since; beginning his career in the audit sector, then shifting his focus solely to tax in 2017. He obtained his CPA license in 2017. When Andrew is not crunching numbers, he likes to hit the trails and embark on long distance adventures through the woods.

Lisa is a CPA and a CFE with more than 14 years of experience in public accounting and joined Meridian Advisors in August 2021. She has extensive experience in taxation, compliance and consulting services for real estate partnerships and small businesses. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Northridge in 2011. Outside of work Lisa enjoys travelling, spending time with family, volunteering and remodeling houses.

Gabe is an Enrolled Agent who has worked in public accounting since 2018. Starting his career at KPMG, he worked there till January 2026 where he then joined Meridian Advisors. He has extensive experience in partnership, s corp, and high net-worth individual filings with focuses in real estate, alternative investments, and fund of fund structures. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama in 2017. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his two daughters and wife, watching football/obsessing over his fantasy teams, and building computers.

Larry is a CPA with over 35 years of experience in public and private accounting and joined what is now Meridian Advisors in 1999. He has experience in auditing. financial reporting, individual, business and estate taxation. Larry is currently a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas and his master’s degree in accounting from North Texas State University.

Mike is a CPA and Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) with over 35 years of experience in public accounting including owning and operating a large multi-office tax preparation firm. He joined Meridian Advisors in 2019 and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). He received his Bachelor’s Degree from William Jewell College in Liberty Missouri in 1980. Outside the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his spouse and his 2 dogs. Since 1999 Mike has volunteered with the American Red Cross and has assisted them responding to disasters throughout the United States.

Nicole is an Enrolled Agent working toward her CPA license. In 2018, she earned her Master’s Degree in the Science of Taxation from California State University, Northridge. During her time in the tax practice and public accounting, she developed expertise in tax controversy resolution, international tax, corporation, pass-through types of entities, and individual tax. Nicole became a member of Meridian Advisors in January 2022. In her free time, Nicole loves to spend time with friends and family. She enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking, and traveling. She has a passion for arts, history, and humor.

Allen is a Senior Tax Advisor with seven years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in the preparation of individual and business tax returns, audit work, and the preparation of business licenses and property tax returns. Before transitioning to public accounting, Allen worked in private industry as a payroll specialist for a company with over 500 employees, where he monitored and audited timecards, reconciled payroll costs, and ensured compliance with labor regulations. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 2018. Allen is known for his attention to detail and expertise in tax compliance. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, going to the gym, and spending time with his family.

Jessica is a Senior Tax Advisor with eight years of experience in public accounting and joined Meridian Advisors in December 2024. She has experience in tax, audits, and consulting services in various industries. In 2020 her main focus shifted to tax and consulting services. She received her Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge in 2014.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her growing family and can be found joining a Bikram yoga class or other high intensity workout class or traveling and discovering new food finds/experiences.

Briza is a tax advisor with two years of experience in public accounting. She first joined Meridian Advisors as an intern during her final year at California State University, Northridge, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2023. Briza is currently working towards attaining her CPA. In her free time, you can find Briza hiking, baking and reaching the top of the leaderboard at her local pinball arcade.

Ashley is a Senior Business Advisor with over a decade of accounting experience. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from New York University in 2007 before becoming a hospitality manager with Hyatt Hotels. In 2013 she made the transition to accounting and joined Meridian Advisors first as an Administrator and quickly moved up to the role of Staff Accountant. Ashley specializes in bookkeeping and accounting services to clients in a variety of fields including medical groups and real estate, as well as preparation of compliance returns and other support services. Ashley was born and raised in Los Angeles and spent her summers in Marina Del Rey sailing with her grandparents. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, frequent trips to Yosemite, reading, crafts, and volunteering at her children’s school.

Jonathan Palfi is a Business Advisor focused on helping organizations improve performance, manage risk, and achieve sustainable growth through strategic and financial guidance. He brings a unique perspective shaped by experience in both the public and private sectors.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Jonathan dedicated eight years in municipal finance where he developed expertise in financial planning, regulatory compliance and accountability. His background in government operations and compliance enables him to help organizations strengthen internal controls, navigate complex requirements and make informed business decisions.

In his current role, Jonathan partners with leadership teams to align financial and operational objectives, identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions that drive measurable results. He is known for his analytical approach, collaborative style and commitment to delivering long-term value for clients. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys hiking and camping, finding that time outdoors provides both balance and inspiration for tackling new challenges.

Karen is a Business Advisor with over 30 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operations in the entertainment, non-profit and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In her free time, Karen enjoys planning and hosting events, traveling, playing board games, Mahj Jong and Canasta. Most of all, she cherishes time with her multigenerational family.

Liana Sahakyan is a Tax Advisor with over four years of experience in public accounting. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Accounting from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Liana is passionate about helping clients navigate complex tax matters and achieve their financial goals. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. She also has a strong appreciation for photography and art, which allow her to express her creativity. Liana values continuous learning and personal growth in both her professional and personal life.

Grace is an Tax Advisor with two years of experience in public accounting. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2022 and joined Meridian Advisors in January 2023. Grace is currently attending Santa Monica College and working towards obtaining an Associate in Science degree in Accounting. Outside of work, Grace enjoys spending time with her friends, learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, traveling, and going to the beach to catch waves.

Janet Martin, with over two decades of experience in the accounting industry, possesses a diverse professional background. Prior to entering the accounting field, she dedicated nearly five years to managing distributions, loans, and 1099’s within a retirement plan company. She has completed basic accounting and QuickBooks courses. Born and raised in the Philippines, Janet received her education at Catholic schools throughout her elementary and high school years. In her leisure time, she finds joy in spending time with her three rescue fur babies and watching a good movie with her husband. She also likes spending time on the beach.

Ashley is the Office Manager of Meridian Advisors, although the way she got there was unconventional. She earned a degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems with an emphasis in plant sciences and started her career working with food industries and analyzing sustainable practices. This work eventually led her to become increasingly intrigued with the administrative branch of her interests. Eventually she found her way working for a CPA firm and growing to become a pillar of support to partners, managers and staff for all administrative, billing and workflow oversight. She was born and raised in the Central Coast and moved to Los Angeles in 2023 where she enjoys spending her time working out with her dog in the home gym she helped build with her husband, trying out new food spots and looking for great music to groove to.
